June 24 @ 5:00 pm - June 30 @ 11:00 pm
Taking its name form the surrealist game, exquisite corpse, “EXQUISITE” is a week long collaboration exhibition featuring eight artist from the Carnegie Mellon and Pittsburgh community. During the week of June 24-30, these eight artists will be working to transform Powder Room into a laboratory for extraordinary exploration. Bringing their own interest and expertise to the table, each artist will hop, skip and jump from studio to studio, blending their artistic practices as the week progresses.
From Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29, Powder Room will be open to the public from 5pm until 8pm, and we encourage visitors to enter and observe the spaces as the artists work.
On Saturday, June 30, we will host a closing reception, and the gallery will be presented as the residue of the week’s collaboration.
