“the etymology of window” is a site-specific installation created for the Frame Gallery Window Fronts by MFA Candidate Huidi Xiang. Through recreating and reinterpreting the objects or shapes that are constantly viewing or being viewed in our daily life, this work proposes an alternative perspective, inviting viewers to look at, rather than look through, the “window” itself.

The work will be on view at the Window Fronts of the Frame Gallery 24/7 from December 10, 2019 to January 12, 2020. Come and visit anytime.
