“Ocular Evidence,” a Solo Exhibition by Ryan McGinness BFA ’94 Opens at Quint Gallery

“Ocular Evidence” is exhibition of new paintings and cyanotypes provides evidence of the many different bodies of work McGinness has been exploring in recent years—from self-reflective Studio Views with process-referencing subject matter to iconic Signals, Skateboards, Mindscapes, and Black Holes. “Ocular evidence” is a term McGinness came across while doing research for a large-scale public art project commissioned by the US government to be completed in 2018 at the San Ysidro/Tijuana border crossing.

The exhibition is on view November 11, 2017 to February 3, 2018.
