Professor Kim Presents at the University of Pittsburgh

Professor Jongwoo Jeremy Kim will participate in the public event “Tiepolo, Canova, Degas: The Dancer In and Out of Character” at the University of Pittsburgh’s Humanities Center on October 10. He will join Professor Josh Ellenbogen in a colloquium treating a new research on Tiepolo, Canova, and Degas. Following a presentation by the Humanities Center’s Visiting Fellow Christopher Wood from New York University, Kim and Ellenbogen will address the topic 18th and 19th century paintings of dance and theoretical issues concerning visualizations of dancing and human forms.
