Professor Echo Eggebrecht Lectures at Cornell University

Assistant Professor of Art Echo Eggebrecht presents a Visiting Artist Lecture Feb 9 at Cornell University, NY.

Eggebrecht’s work has been exhibited in group and solo shows at spaces such as the Dallas Museum of Art; Ulrich Museum, Wichita; Brooklyn Academy of Art; Lincoln Museum, Edinburgh; Nicole Klagsbrun Gallery, Manhattan; Ter Caemer Mert, Belgium; Groeflin Maag, Zurich; and Horton Gallery, Manhattan. Her work has also appeared and been reviewed in publications including the New York Times, Huffington Post, Art in America, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Harper’s Magazine, and n+1. Currently, she’s working on a series of paintings concentrating on various modes of labor through a feminist lens, as well as a graphic novel with the Innocence Project. She teaches painting and drawing courses in the School of Art.
