The School of Art Unequivocally Affirms that Black Lives Matter

The School of Art unequivocally affirms that Black Lives Matter. We denounce the racist vandalism that occurred earlier this week on The Fence, which changed “Black Lives Matter” to “All Black Lives Matter”. As President Farnam Jahanian wrote in his address to the campus, “It is our moral and ethical responsibility to speak in a loud voice that ‘Black Lives Matter.’ Saying these words does not erase or ignore other lives.
