Sculpture Technician Phillip Scarpone exhibits in a three-person show with artists Laura Sallade and Geoff Dubinsky at Seraphin Gallery in Philadelphia, PA, with an opening reception Feb 3 from 6-8pm. The show runs through March 19, 2017.
Scarpone’s work uses the language of the assemblage to reconcile space and memory. Precious yet steadfast in sensibility, the viewer finds themselves absorbed by the nostalgic narrative the work creates. The themselves artists find themselves in a dialogue with each other through their contemporary craftsmanship, and with their playful and sophisticated use of line, composition and form.
