Tom Hughes is the Associate Director of the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, a laboratory for new modes of artistic production housed in Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Fine Arts. An arts management professional with over a decade of experience assisting creative individuals and arts organizations, Tom is a graduate of the Master of Arts Management program at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Three Dimensional Studies from Bowling Green State University. He is responsible for managing STUDIO programs and initiatives, and administering the Frank-Ratchye Fund for Art @ the Frontier grant program. As an educator, Tom seeks to empower CFA students with the business skills necessary to hit the ground running as they start their careers in the creative industries and beyond.
