Nathalie MorenoSecond-Year MFA Candidate
Nathalie Moreno is a Cuban-American from Miami, Florida. She received her BFA from Parsons School of Design in 2016 and has worked as a graphic designer and costume designer, two positions which have deeply informed her practice. As an interdisciplinary artist, Moreno focuses on costumes, video and performance. Her work plays with the performative, often stereotypical, signifiers of Latinx identity, aiming to question and expand the iconographic significance of the Latinx body. In every exaggerated character she embodies, Moreno hopes to offer multiple possibilities of Latinxness.
