Beginning in September, Shobun Baile MFA ’18 will be an artist in residence at the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston as part of the Core Program. The prestigious nine-month residency gives postgraduate artists opportunities to engage with wide range of leading contemporary artists, critics, curators, and art historians who are invited to meet individually with the residents, lead seminars, and deliver public lectures.
The residency will culminate in an exhibition of work produced during the nine-month term, accompanied by a publication featuring essays by the critical-studies residents and documenting the work of all the residents.
