Professor Versari Speaks at International Conference on Boccioni

Professor Maria Elena Versari has been invited to speak at the International Conference titled “Boccioni’s Dilemma: In Search of his Sculptural Oeuvre,” organized by the Museu de Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil, on September 28.

The conference will focus on the history of the most emblematic sculptural piece by Italian futurist artist Umberto Boccioni (1882-1916) and is organized in conjunction with the exhibition “Boccioni: Continuity in Space.” The conference aims to share and publicize the updated research on Boccioni’s output as a sculptor, while also bringing new information of the history of the “Continuity in Space.” Professor Versari’s presentation is titled “The Uniqueness of Forms: Perception and Space in Boccioni.”
